Do black widows live in groups?

Question:i just sprayed my garage with some insect killer because i was sick of the crickets that were in there. while i was spraying i seen some spider webs so i sprayed them too and a black widow came out, i killed that one. i sprayed behind my water heater and another black widow came out and i sprayed it down. then i sprayed behind my water softener to find yet another black widow but i couldnt kill it because it ran into a crack but i did spray it. im calling a exterminator tomorrow i just want to know if black widows live in groups, if so ill try to reason with the exterminator and try to get to to come tomorrow even it costs more.

Answers:
No, but you will find multiple spiders within a certain area, if the habitat is good for them and depending on where you live. Calling the exterminator is a good idea. Don't leave shoes outside, flower pots empty, piles of wood or debris, things like that. The exterminator will also give you suggestions.

Yes they talk about their hubbies in Harlem over a good KFC dinner
no they do not.
nope they sure dont.. they take pride in their teritory and if there is any other spiders around they will eat it.. you might see 2 but thats as meny as there will be together and if you see 2 that is husband and wife, once the wife is pregnat she will kill the husband
..so there will be one MAYBE 2 but hey thats just in one corner of the house..
They can live in groups, but they just may be common in your area.As far as a exterminator goes the suff they spray doesnt really help as far as spiders go.
nop. black widows live alone. taken from the name itself - widow. means the husband died so they are now living alone.
i know that where ever they hatch they live their whole lives 25 feet from that spot.As far as group,I'm not so sure! That's why spring cleaning is so important .Spiders love places that aren't moved alot. Closets, basements, etc.Good idea to call a professional. They will get rid of the crickets, which may be why so many spiders see a "healthy food supply" there.
No they do not, they are solitary insect, The female is only accompanied by another spider the male black widow, during courtship, and when they are finished mating, the female often eats the male!
