Fruit flies in my shower!?
Question:I have a stall shower in my bathroom and every morning when I get in to shower, I see several black knat like flies-I think fruit flies. I've never had those in a shower before and I kill them when I see them, but there's always more. Why are they in my shower? How to get rid of them?

It sounds like what you have are fungus gnats; they will go after even the TINIEST amount of fungus growing somewhere. The best thing you can do to prevent these is to keep the area VERY dry. Use a box fan or oscillating fan to dry out the area after a shower, and keep it on low during the day to keep the air circulating. I use the same technique here to keep mold from forming (I'm near Seattle, and it's very humid), and it works very well.
you should get a ant spray from the store and spray it around your shower every 4 times a day. if you have something that smells like fruit get ride of it quickly
