What is rubberwood?


Question:I'm looking for a butterfly table which is made frm solid wood, and have seen one that says it is made of eco friendly rubberwood. What is this? is it solid wood? And will it last?

It is eco friendly, not old growth but it is soft and not very strong and so will not last.

Wood that is from the rubber tree.
