How do insecticides (any kind) affect plants growth rate?

Question:

Answers:
I am unaware of any affect insecticides have other than good for your plants growth rate. The good is it kills those little boogers that are sucking and eating your plants to death.

Systemics work from the inside out especially when you have an infestation of root borers. If and when you discover you have borers you have to pull up your garden and burn the plants and treat the soil through that growing season.
