Cordless Weed Trimmers?

Question:Has anyone had any experience with cordless/rechargeable weed/grass string trimmers? I need a new one, and am looking at that kind with an eye to light-weight (i.e. non-gasoline powered) & cord-free, but wonder if they have the capacity to do a good job without running out of charge too soon. Would appreciate any input of a helpful nature, specific brands would be great. Thanks!

Answers:
I used to sell cordless trimmers at black and decker so maybe this will be helpful! The battery will operate for 17 minutes at 80% power or greater. After 17 minute their will be a decline in strength from 80% until the battery is drained. For complete satisfaction and ease, get an 18 volt. Also get an 18 volt trickle charger. This should last you many years.

P.S. If you feel like you may need a second battery consider buying a power tool that comes with one! Often times (especially in outlet stores) an 18 volt drill w/battery is cheaper then the battery alone.

I have a Black and Decker Grasshog. I LOVE it, but it has a few issues, which I believe are common to all cordless weed eaters:

--Battery goes low after I finish edging/weed eating the front yard

---Not as powerful as my electric trimmer, especially in dense grass

The grass hog is lightweight, which is good for my scrawny arms and very easy to use. I really like that you can convert the trimmer to an edger by pulling and twisting the bottom section.
