Started pouring while mowing my lawn?
Question:i got about a fourth of the way done. it was sunny when i started and i figured i'd beat the rain...anyway i obviously can't rain while its pouring and it usually isn't going to cut well wet so i have to wait at the earliest until tomorrow to cut it. will the grass look all messed up in a few days since it wasn't all cut at the same time?

Happens to me all the time. You will have a small section of grass that will be shorter than the rest. But don't sweat it. It won't be long until you can cut it again; just go over that spot too, to make it all the same length.
Not if it a matter of hours difference, three days is another matter.
Psssst...it's grass. Worry about something else.
Nah, your lawn will be ok. As long as it gets cut, it will even out.
probably not.. if it keeps pouring it might stop it from growing if theres no sun
LOL..I just got mine done minutes before the rain came! It'll be ok if you do it tomorrow but it's supposed to rain again then..otherwise you might as well do the whole thing again in a few days.
Your lawn will be fine because if your blade is set the same as when you cut it before it will cut all the grass the same length the next time you cut it.. So don't worry about it.
Yeah. . .I would give up mowing all together!!!!
You must be here in Texas.Damn rain won't stop long enough. If and when it does stop raining, just start all over again. It should be fine.
If you live in Oklahoma or Texas it will look all messed up better to just redo all of it. You can cut the grass while it is wet just takes longer because the machine clogs up really bad. I have found a way around that but it takes like two to three times to cut than it would if dry. What you do is only cut it half width or maybe a third if you have let it go for to long. Instead of a 22 inch cut you cut it 11 or half the width of the mower.
