Air cooler in a studio in chicago???


Question:hi im staying in chicago for the summer... in a studio. so the studio does not have AC so i m planning on getting a air cooler and i was wondering if anyone can tell me if its worth it to get an air cooler in chicago in a studio. if so... please tell me where to find a cheap air cooler. thanks!!

WalMart has a line of lasko brand fans that have a vortex effect, they actually lower the temperature. under fifty dollars, also small room window airconditioners are available there but if you put man a/c in the window does your rent go UP?
