What is the average cost of maintaining an average sized in ground pool?
Question:On a per month basis, how much would you say it generally costs per month to keep up a regular sized underground pool in the summer months?

WOW!!! $25 a week. I sure could buy a hell of allot of chemicals for $1200 a year!! As I said...I spend about $250 a year on a 11,000 gal pool. Do it yourself and save allot of $$$$$$.

We pay $25 a week to have someone come out and clean the pool. Regulate the chemicals and maintain the equipment
we spend about $100 a summer on chemicals. We only have the pump on a few hours a day so that does not cost much and we only heat it at the weekends if it has not been warm during the week but with the weather right now in Toronto we have not had the heater on for about 2 weeks and the kids are swimming every day and not complaining about the temperature.
