Has anyone used a floatron in there pool?

Question:

Answers:
Be careful when using any ionization system. While they work great in the short term, long term use will build up high levels of copper, aluminum, silver, etc. Silver in high quantities is toxic, copper in high quantities will stain the pool and your hair green.

Ionization systems can not remove organic compounds in the water. They are effective at killing off algae (copper) and bacteria (silver) but the dead stuff remains in the water to decompose into nitrites/nitrates and phosphates which are nothing more than plant fertilizer.
