How can I keep spiders and other insects off of my outdoor patio furniture?

Question:

Answers:
You can't unless you put them away inside in covers. Spiders love garden chairs with the angles for building webs on and the airflow that brings in dinner - they are just too pefect for them.

get some Bayer Lawn & Garden insect control ( available at Lowes) I had a lot of argentine ants getting into house, so I used it as a barrier 10 ft around house. no more ants! It works on other bugs also. Spiders feed on other insects, so if no other bugs are around, they will go somewhere else, or die
One thing I learned years ago about some insects: they don't like the smell of vinegar, and if you put some down at the point of entry, some of them will turn around and walk away. I know it works for ants. I'm not sure about spiders. I am not suggesting you spray your furniture. If you can see where the bugs are getting onto the patio, this may be an option to try. Use a pump sprayer to put a thin line of straight vinegar along the wall, or door way where you think they are gaining access to your patio.
