What the best serger sewing machine?

Question:im looking for a sewing machine thats gonna last. looking for a serger. whats the best?

Well- depending on how much you want to spend and what you are going to use it for? I have a Singer- millienum series, 4spool and it works great. It was like $1,000 and I got it on sale for $300! Now Husquarna and Viking make awesome machines- but are more pricey. I know they sell some brands at Wal-mart, etc. But not sure of their quality. go to www.ask.com and type in serger - you'll get more brands and maybe some internet discounts. I definitely would not buy one off the internet unless you already know how to use a serger. Mine came with free lifetime lessons and even though I have been sewing since I was in Jr High- the lessons were definetely needed!
