I have a large container of exterior deck paint that was previously frozen ...?

Question:I just picked up free paint at the store. It was frozen in its plastic container at some point, so I guess the company is legally not able to sell it. They are giving it away. Will it be okay, or shall I just take it to the recycling depot. I am hoping it will still be good. Thanks. I don't have a dad to ask!

Answers:
Many paints are not usable after freezing, they become "chunky" and won't spread neatly. You can tell by stirring it and see if it spreads smoothly.

I don't think it will be any good .
