I need help with my bamboo plant.?

Question:I water my bamboo plant regularly when the soil starts to ger dry and let it have minimul sun like it supposed to have ...but I left it outside for two days in 80 degree weather and a bit of rain. Now the leaves have started to turn a yellow color but they arn't dryed out and feel like the other leaves yet they won't turn back to there original green. Also I have reduced to spritzing it wit water because I thought it was getting root rot. And I have it indoors just incase the may have parched the leaves. Can someone please help me?

Answers:
If the leaves are yellow and the veins are green, it's a nutritional deficiency. They will not turn green again. You need to fertilize. As you get new, green growth, pick off the sickly looking leaves so that all the energy goes to the new leaves. If you have an Ag Center ( Agriculture ) near you, you can call them, or take in a picture, sample leaf, or small branch- they should have a tach there to advise you.

It sounds like you bamboo might need a little minerals. Try giving it a dose of Miracle Grow.
I planted mine in potting soil, AND keep the pot filled to the top with water. I keep it indoors. It is growing like a weed.
I would not give up on it, those are lucky plants. I do believe it will bounce back. Please, don't put any water on it for a while, and I would keep it in the house. Good Luck.
