How can I organize electric wire/ code in the home office?
Question:I have Surge protector from the wall, and split into 8 electric devices. The thing is each code is long, or short, and its hung around the wall, and lay all over the floor in tiny corner space. I tried to fold them, tie them, but some require longer reach to the equipment than the other, the dust gets bad behind the work station, I have hard wood floor and pretty clean cut space under the tale, but still looks congested with bunch of cord and hard to reach and clean / vacuum. Any suggestion?
Answers:
use twist ties and these circle labels that have metal around them and a hole punched it. Start with the minor wires, label what they are coming FROM and where they are GOING. And work your to the larger cords. To organize and hide them, take a piece of wood and put nails or hooks on them and hang the cords from that, you can put that on the wall with a few screws or to the back of t he desk where you can hid it and move it all at once with only the surge protectors connected to the wall.
