How do you sanitize an air mattress that was around cockroaches?

Question:I lent an air mattress to a friend only to find out that he has cockroaches in his apartment (a lot of them). How do I sanitize this before bringing it back in my home? Should I toss it? I don't want to be paranoid, but I don't want an infestation. Help!

Answers:
I would just toss it, you wouldn't want to risk bringing the eggs into your home.

You can mix up a solution of bleach and water and scrub it down. Bleach is an excellent disinfectant. Just rinse it off thoroughly afterward. If possible, dry it outside in full sun.
You can keep it outside for a while then you spray using the insecticide then after one day bring inside the house but if it was me I could just forget abot the mattress and try to gett another one.
9 parts water to 1 part bleach solution and give it a good scrub. Then have it dry outside.

In the future, tell your friends where the mattresses are sold so he can get his own
