What do butterflies smell like?
Question:I saw a girl write on Y!A that she "smelled like butterflies".
I guess I've just never taken the time to stop and smell the insects...

They smell like a wisp of blossom mixed with the waft of coming rain... delightful, really, though their scent is nothing compared to their song. ;-) :-)

They probably have a similar smell to ants... kind of like a dirt smell. But I can't say I have smelt a butterfly recently ;)

All the butterflies I have come across didn't have a smell at all, but I suppose a dead one might put out abit of odour. I would rather go about smelling the rose's. Cheers and good luck.
