On the underneath of pond lily i have noticed clear like slimmy things that are eating the leaves wot are they

Question:They are about and inch long and i cannot get them of. There are also some other things that could possilby some eggs they are clear with little brown bits in them and they seem to be different to the other slug like things. They are destorying the lillys leaves.

Answers:
I would think that the clear slimy things are young sawfly grubs, have some of them started to turn black? If you can, pick them off and destroy.
The other things, possibly eggs, could be either damselflies, or dragonflies. You can leave those , they are really beautiful when they eventually hatch.

Yes I have seen them but I don't know what they are called! Sorry!
