Drought and the feeding of backyard birds?

Question:I usually cut the backyard birds off for the summer months, setting feeders out in the fall, but with this year's drought in GA, I'm wondering if there will be enough natural sources of food this summer. Should I continue feeding through the summer this year? I always keep the bird bath clean and filled. That's been very popular this summer.

Answers:
I would keep with the feeding.
The birds have learned that it's a reliable source, and these "hard times" every little bit helps.
