Just aks questions, ask if it involves moving and if it does start looking for houses.
Cry infront of him shed tears and tell him you love your home and do not want to move. DON'T LET HIM GO UNLESS HE AGREES with you.
You have to know more then that . Who told you he was making the visit? Do you rent? A contractor usually does work, why would they care what the house is worth..
