Tomato Plants?

Question:I have four tomato plants. all have buds for blossoms, on each plant I have one blossom that is opening to flower which I should see them open by tomorrow. We have had such wet weather and cool is that good for this time of the year and when will the tomatoes mature. It says after planting 64 days I had transplants so about how long will it be before I have a juicy tomato to eat. ;)

Answers:
Depending on the variety and when exactly they were planted you should have tomatoes beginning somewhere near the end of July to the first week in August. Cool, wet weather can have a small impact, but not much. The amount of sunlight is what does it. Just make sure they get enough food and water and you should be getting some tomatoes any day now.

Hi
All will come good, you can't rush nature, I've got a greenhouse full of tomatoes all at different stages of growth and yet they were planted at the same time.

I think your looking at the end of August...
The cool dry weather will definitely have an impact. Lack of sun is even worse. I have 12 plants that were planted the second week in April. They all have flowers and lots of fruit. We have had allot of rain in the last two months and very little sun. The fruit is not increasing in size and the ones that are tennis ball size will not ripen. I need some sun!!! Had alittle Saturday, but not nearly enough. Be patient,,,you'll get some tomatoes.
