Anyone know any brand of pressure washers made in USA?
Question:I'm wanting to buy an electric pressure washer to wash my house. However, all of the ones I've seen so far are really cheap and the parts fall off. I'd also like to buy one that is American made. Anyone have an opinion on pressure washers?

GENERAC are good but dont buy the little ones that ran on a small lawnmower engine..nor an electric one, they are trash..gas engines one which have what is called an "ohc" engine will last you a long time ..ohc means overhead cam..it is a gas engine as well..and may look like a lawnmower engine to you..the cost is gonna be around 350.00 at least though..Home depot has them too.and alot if you look around the paint mixing booth..you find some people have used once or twice, returned for no reason, and they clean them up and sell for a reduced price, with full warranty...
Go to tractor suply company or northern hydrolics they sell more commercial p/w that wont fall apart, but they proly wont be electric.
Both Husky and Craftsman made durable ones. The Craftsman is a little more expensive but it has a metal frame with wheels whereas the husky has wheels attached to the plastic body.
I don't know about American made, but we have a Honda gas powered one that will skin the bark off of a tree! Stick with a know brand, from someone like Lowes or Home Depot where you can return it if your not satisfied.
Craftsman washers from Sears are pretty good I hear. They may also be American made, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that...
I got one at Home Depot that works good, for little less than $100. Works far better than the $400 one I bought years ago. It can take a little flaky paint off of wood, but it works fine on a car even. The expensive one I had before would leave gouges in wood if you tried.
Generac makes nice ones...I have a gas powered one with a honda motor for 7 years with no problems...
