What is the minimum height of a Greenhouse of USV roofing for the Philippines climate?

Question:The Philippines is a temperate country and I want to design a greenghouse suitable for lettuce and other high value vegetables

Answers:
Th standard design for greehouses in Philippine climate is usually at 8 ft. in the highest point of the arch roof. If ur altitude is about near sea level, this is recommended. But if your altitude is 200 meters ASL or more, you can lower your roof distance to about 2 feet. Reason: The higher the roof distance from the plot allows the air to cool and create less stress for the plants. Also, try to create an opening in the roof using the venturi effect wherein air naturally enters from the side of the house and exits throught the opening in the roof creating a well ventilated greenhouse. This venturi effect relieves alot of heat stress on plants.
