first clean the place up really well. They need food water and shelter like most living things. Next go to a hardward store and get some boric acid this is a white powder or a product with boric acid in it you will have to read the label to find the boric acid in it and while you are there pick up roach bombs enough to cover the area you are working with. The boric acid goes around the entire perimeter inside put down a good coating. Next set off the bombs as per the instructions. After 1 to 2 weeks you most reat this process. Eggs and the sneaky ones that made it through the 1st wave. This should do it for you. Warning if you have kids or pets all of this is poison Take care and follow the directions to the letter on these products. Oh don't get the cheapest roach bombs they don't work as well. Raid is a good one. To keep them out make sure they don't get their food or water and they will find some where eles to live. Outside of a professional this will work. I've done many a rental units very successfully. Good luck.

use hot sause and water spray it around your plumbing and they won't go there
Spread boric acid around where the roaches are. The stuff turns their insides to cement, effectively killing them.
Boric acid. It's a powder.
move & leave all your things there
clean your house really really really good with hot water and bleach. Then turn your airconditioner down to like 65. You must keep the house clean tho. Dont leave food out and take your trash out daily. Good luck
Make a mixture of sugar & baking soda, put in in a small lid and let them come. They will eat it and their bodies do not have a mechanism to allow them to burp so their insides will explode. It does work.
Make your own roach bait.

Ingredients

1/4 cup lard or shortening
1/8 sugar
8 ounces powdered boric acid
1/2 cup flour
1/2 chopped onion
Water to form a soft dough

Preparation

Mix the lard and sugar until you get a creamy mix.
Mix the boric acid, flour, and onion.
Add to the lard and sugar mix.
Add enough water to form a soft dough.
Shape the mixture into soft balls or drop a small amount on opened small plastic bags.
Now you can place these where Mr. Cockroach and his gang usually lurk (cupboards, under the sinks, under the fridge and dishwasher…) Just keep them away from pets and small children. Boric acid is poison! It’s the real active ingredient in this mix.
Go to local hardware and buy do-it-yourself pest control spray. It's less than $15. There are ones with natural ingredients and safe for kids and pets. It should be enough to spray your whole house.
Find boric acid. It is the ingredient in many roach killers and since your buying it direct you save quite a lot of money. Its fairly safe to use. See the link below.
Boric acid is a desicant which mean it dries out the coachroach who dies from not being able to get enough fluid.

Victor is one brand of boric acid for roaches
Lowes sells boric acid in small vinyl spray bottles in the pest department.
99-cent stores usually sell Boric Acid as "Roach Pruf" for, well, 99 cents
i found that (they are called)roach motels work perfert. they are made for large and small roaches and could found in any grocery store or wal-mart for six to nine dollars, and the have depending on large or small, there are enough to place in numerous places. there are different brands the raid, combat, etc. from experience they have worked for me. it took about a week to see a difference. they actually go into the little "motel" and once they come out the carry the poision back to their area where it kills other roaches. trust well worth paying six to nine dollars!!!!!!
