first clean the place up really well. They need food water and shelter like most living things. Next go to a hardward store and get some boric acid this is a white powder or a product with boric acid in it you will have to read the label to find the boric acid in it and while you are there pick up roach bombs enough to cover the area you are working with. The boric acid goes around the entire perimeter inside put down a good coating. Next set off the bombs as per the instructions. After 1 to 2 weeks you most reat this process. Eggs and the sneaky ones that made it through the 1st wave. This should do it for you. Warning if you have kids or pets all of this is poison Take care and follow the directions to the letter on these products. Oh don't get the cheapest roach bombs they don't work as well. Raid is a good one. To keep them out make sure they don't get their food or water and they will find some where eles to live. Outside of a professional this will work. i found that (they are called)roach motels work perfert. they are made for large and small roaches and could found in any grocery store or wal-mart for six to nine dollars, and the have depending on large or small, there are enough to place in numerous places. there are different brands the raid, combat, etc. from experience they have worked for me. it took about a week to see a difference. they actually go into the little "motel" and once they come out the carry the poision back to their area where it kills other roaches. trust well worth paying six to nine dollars!!!!!!
