Where do you dispose old carpet?
Question:My wife and I recently pulled up our carpeting and put down hardwood floors. Now we don't know where to take the carpet to dispose of it. Do recycling centers accept it?
Answers:
Most municipal dumps will take it. Can't recycle it. I hope you have a truck or a friend with one!
On trash night, put it out front of your neighbor's house.
A great use for it is to put it upside down around the base of your trees and plants then cover with mulch. It keeps the weeds out and the moisture in.
