What do you do about frogs in your pool?

Question:We JUST shocked our above ground pool and about 5 minutes ago found 2 frogs in it. One in the filter and one hanging out at the edge of the pool. Are they going to die because the pool was just shocked? How can I keep them from getting in again??

Answers:
Poor froggies. They probably will die, sorry.

Can you cover your pool at night? It is really difficult to keep frogs out, unfortunately.

You may want to try fake ducks or fake animals that float on the surface. Sometimes it helps, although more for other animals than frogs.

I would really suggest getting a roll out pool cover and covering it up at night. Pain in the booty, but it'll keep 'em out...

Good luck to ya! Hope your pool is froogy free in the morning!

Only time will tell about the shock treatment, you need to cover the pool tightly when not using it.
