well there r many thing u can do if its so much to the extent u hav to call da extemenator do that, but if its every once in a while perhaps get some anti bug sparys i use that lol
DON'T EAT IN YOUR ROOM. Otherwise if your normal just spray the baseboards and window sills every other month with an insect killer and put roach bait under things. Honestly that'll pretty much take care of it. This I have learned from living in apartments and they have many little cracks for critters but my apartment is now clean.
Buy some peppermint oil, put a little on a rag and wipe it around the perimeter of the room. Insects, especially ants hate the oil (for what reason, I don't know). As for other creatures, what are they, mice, squirrels? That's a whole nother problem.
