Like the other guy said, Ortho Home Defense Max. You can get it at Walmart. It has no odor, is safe for humans and pets once it dries.
If your apartment is seriously infested you may consider going the "bug bomb" route first. I like the Hot Shot odorless kind myself. Just follow the directions on the can and make sure you and any pets you may have are elsewhere until the treatment is done. You have to wash your dishes, clean the counters, floors, etc., afterwards but it's so worth the extra work. Then, just follow up with the other thing.
Check around all plumbing lines and your windows and doors for cracks too. If you continue to have a problem after you treat for awhile, the problem isn't your apartment, it's your neighbors. I actually moved once on a professional exterminator's recommendation because of roaches.

silverfish like dampness, so if you resolve the dampness, they'll go away or die off. Get a dehumidifier, repair leaks or basement seepage, use dessicant agents.
