How much is your gas bill in Philadelphia (New York, Chicago etc), winter especially?

Question:I just purchased a 3 story townhouse in Philadelphia in the Fishtown Section. I'm just trying to get a feel for what people in large metro areas like Philadelphia are paying for gas in the winter Nov-Feb.let's say.

We own a large home in Philly and our gas bill is outrageous. Our house has 5 bedroomas and 3 bathrooms. It used to be a duplex but was converted to 1 house in the late 80's. The highest was 1,235 in January. I talked to a lot of people in this city and they all agree that gas bills are out of control. We also own several investment properties in the city and we no longer pay the gas bills for our tenants, they must pay their own heating bills.
