What type of carpet should i get??

Question:I just built a cabin in Northern Wisconsin, i want a low maintainance carpet that is easy to clean, wont wear out for a long time, tight weave. It is going directly onto the slab with out a pad. The cabin is only heated while i'm there(wood burner) so the temps will vary that may cause moisture. Also may be subjected to dirty or snowy boots. I heard a nylon may be the best? someone also mentioned to consider a commercial grade?

Answers:
indoor/outdoor carpet you could probably get some leftover from a carpet store.
