When you have no worries and you are setting up for the perfect sleeping spot, what do you do?
Question:example --is the fan on, nite lite, drink by the bed, floor, sheets or none and on and on. What do you do to get ready?

Earplugs and sleeping pills with a newspaper in a cardboard box.
to start off, i get a mattress. then i find a bed to put it on. once that is settled, I go find some sheets. then a blanket. its a light one, and i don't use it at all during the summer, just a sheet to replace it with. ok, i have a bed now. to go to sleep, first i go to the bathroom. then i like having all the lights off and my door halfway closed and sometimes put a fan on if its hot. there might be one or two lights still on outside my door if i forget to turn them off, but most of the time everything is off. i also check for monsters, bugs, creepy things before i turn off the light, and as soon as i click the lamp switch, i run into my bed and jump under the covers. then i figure out which way to put my head, left or right or towards the ceiling. usually left works for me, but sometimes the right feels better. then i snooze away for another 8 hours or until something wakes me up.
If I know my kids and hubby are safe, I turn the ringer off on any phone that will interrupt my nap. I have a glass of water and the remote for the TV at arms length. I tell my family I am going to my room for a nap and don't interrupt me unless someone is bleeding from the ears. LOL
I turn the fan on, I take out my contacts, I turn the television down to nearly audible on a complicated channel like court tv (something sleepy brain wouldn't want to pay attention to), tuck my head between two pillows (not like trains plains & automobiles) and put some weight on the top pillow like my arm or a throw pillow or my cat, oslo, and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (if my brain slows down its' wheels turning) :) - you?
Flop down, close eyes.
it is routine job nothing new in it.
