Help..easy set pool is losing water?

Question:i recently bought an intex pool and started filling it up we get our water from a spring so it is taking several days last night when i went to bed it was almost 3/4 full< 1500 gallons> and when i got up it had lost a foot of water! but the ground all around it was dry please tell me what might cause this...

there may be a hole in the center on the bottom. the water would be leaking out under the pool, thus the ground around the pool would seem dry. enough water hasn't leaked to reach the edge.

if you have sand under the pool, you should get in and slowly and carefully walk around and see if you can see little bits of sand/dirt coming up through a certain spot.
