Is it a sin to kill bugs for fun?
Question:i hate this to tell you but when i was little i've killed a lot of bugs just for fun,now the problem is that i was little and i had no idea it was a sin to kill anything,was this a sin becus afterall i was just a little kid,guys help me(only serious answers please)

I believe it is a "sin" to take another humans life. I killed bugs as a child I think most of us did. Now if it was cats, squirrels, birds and so forth that you did for "fun" then its wrong. Hell I'm grown and I'll still kill a bug when I see one
However if your worried about "sinning" you might as well lay down and die youve sinned worse then killing a damn bug Im sure.

what religon are you? bugs are meant to be killed. its not a sin. its good you have such a sweet heart. if you feel bad maybe you should confess or repent or pray about it. whatever you feel you need to do.
i believe that when one is sincere about looking for forgiveness it will be forgiven...so long as one does not go on thinking that they can commit the same crime again and continue to expect to get away with it each time they ask for forgiveness.
Some religions, such as some types of Buddhism, do see killing bugs as a "sin." I do not know of any religion, however, that does not excuse children from unknowingly "sinning." I think what is important is if you are now remorseful and have changed your ways. Now that you have seen the error of your childhood judgments, do not continue to make the same mistakes.
I do not think its a sin, even though bugs are God's creatures. Especially since you were a kid! I think you are fine and would not dwell on things from the past. If you get the urge to poor salt on a snail and watch it die you should probably try to resist.
