Frog Invasion!?

Question:All night long, I am kept up by croaking frogs. Ever since we put in our pool, we are surrounded by them! I can't see them, but we sure can hear them. Is there any way to get rid of them?

Answers:
let the frenchies in your town know they are there and soon your problems with frogs will be gone! Invite them to a frog roast all they have to do is catch em!

Frogs are a favored food by water moccasins, rat snakes, hog-nosed snakes and many other snakes. Also by raccoons, opossums, herons and other wading birds. If I understand you correctly, the pool you put in is a decorative water feature rather than a swimming pool. If this is the case, you probably get more benefit from the frogs than the annoyance from the noise. Frogs eat insects and feed the interesting visitors to your pool. Frog populations are in decline in many urban areas, and many people would love to have your problem. Might you be able to change your view of the frogs and try to enjoy their company and song? The steady drone or cricket-like chirping is considered restful by some and has a tendency to drown out other annoying sounds like traffic, neighbors' kids' radios, coyotes, and thunder. When winter comes and they begin to hibernate, you may find you miss the frogs! I hope you can find a way to co-exist with them and enjoy their unique skills. Good luck!
