Is the Samurai Shark Knife Sharpener Any Good?

Question:Can anyone tell me if this is a good product? It was on TV today, buy one get one free plus you get two pairs of kitchen scissors with your purchase. Anythoughts?

It would probably be less expensive in the long run to buy a good chef's steel. This is a long steel rod with a wooden handle. It's usually impregnated with either carbide dust, or diamond dust.
