What brand of refrigerator is reliable?
Question:Kenmore, Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana, GE, KitchenAid, LG (pick one, or state a better buy)
Answers:
I've had my Whirlpool for 11 years now and no problems so far. Whirpool is also the parent company of Kitchen Aid. Whirpool also makes the refrigerators sold at Sears under the Kenmore brand. Maytag is also now owned by Whirlpool.
As a kid, my parents had a GE. I recall having seen it get 2 repairs in 10 years. After that they bought a Frigidaire which only lasted 5 years! There is currently a Whirlpool at my parents house. It is 15 years old and has not had a repair yet. So I would go with Whirlpool, myself if/when I need/want a new fridge.
Try JenAire.

I like: Whirlpool, Maytag and KitchenAid. Mine is Whirlpool.
Since they all last 15-20 years or more, just buy the most energy efficient one or the one that has the special features that you're looking for. I knew a lady who had a working one in her garage for 25 years.
Kenmore Whirlpool are the same and the best.
a good one is coleman
Whirlpool, Kenmore and KitchenAid are all the same maker. I have a new Stainless side by side counter depth KitchenAid. I also have the Amana which I had before the remodel. We use that for beverages and a backup. It is 8 years older than the KitchenAid. The Amana is much better than the KitchenAid at keeping produce and other foods. The KichenAid costs an arm and a leg. Produce either freezes, rots or dries out. I never had much to say about Kenmore, They only ever lasted me 10 years at the most. Whirlpool always leaked water into the bottom under the drawers. Amana is my choice.
LG is the best among the brands you just named.
Amana. Had mine for 19 years. No problems, gasket around door still good.
