How long before you stop calling your new home your "new" home?
Question:Cuz we moved in like 2 years ago and my mom just told her friend on the phone that it's a new home lol

I would stop saying my new home after one year. She is probably just trying to keep up with her friend.
I stoped as soon as I was 100% done moving in. Then I was done living between the two houses.
Whenever you like, really . normally when I've unpacked the very last box... usually takes me 6 months to get through it all!
a year at most. But your mom is probably still adjusting to having you away after so many years under her roof.
I probably stopped calling it that around the 2yr mark. :)
