What do you do with wasps?
Question:There is a pair of wasps living on the back the door to this storage house in my back yard. They've built a nest and i think there are 2 larvae in their small nest. Wat do i do about these wasps? They look like a happily married couple living in my back yard...When i opened the door, and i saw them, they don't fly away or attack me. I guess they are protecting their nest, but then this got me wondering about wasps. Can sum1 list a bunch of sites where i can learn more? And are these guys a good thing or a bad thing. I live in the Bay Area of California if this helps in identifying the wasps and their behavior. Perhaps these guys are seeking refuge and asylum from some oppressive regime in a distant place and if i let them stay, they might thank me XD. But then again they are parasites, and are probably not afraid of me so they freely exploit the resouces at my home...i could set some rules but that would be messed up (they live just a few yards from the garden hose...

Wasps (the insect type) are preditors and will kill even the birds in your garden if threatened. If you want to be eccological, I'm sure in the US there is an environmental agency you can call about the problem. Search your County website
