What is the best way to minimize biting insects inside/outside your home?

Sulfur powder can be sprinkled around the foundations and steps outside your house to repel chiggers, spiders, fleas and ticks. Also spread it lightly in the area within five or ten feet of your foundation or throughout your yard to discourage ants. Put insect repellant around your ankles if you go outside to prevent the insects from coming in with you. Inside the house is a little harder . . . you don't want a bunch of nasty-smelling insect-repellants inside. If you have pets, use one of the products you "annoint" their backs with. The bugs really prefer the animals and will die off fairly soon as they try to bite your pets and get poisoned instead. Good luck!
taking vitamin B12 actually prevents insect bites bc it releases an odor that insects can't stand from your pores. But in order for it to work you have to be taking vitamin b12 for a week or so and take it everyday.
Eliminate all standing water outside of your home where they breed. If it is ants, get ant baits or use an insecticide spray. If it is fleas, use a professional exterminator. If fleas are indoor, go to your local Pet Store and find a product which you may spray on you carpets, furniture and bed. If you have a mosquito problem, use a topical spray or lotion for your own skin. Good luck and God bless you.
To keep away the biggest pest, mosquitoes, put up big bags of water hanging around, i know it is tacky but it will work!
