Would you like to see a "classic" range of electrical goods guaranteed for 10 years.?
Question:ie: are you fed up of being on the treadmill of keeping up with the jones by buying slightly different versions of perfectly adequate goods you already own, just because wanting to be seen to be keeping up?
wouldnt you buy the classic version of telephone/fridge/ toaster..etc...and look after it and make it last.
is your life really that trivial that the best thing you can think to spend your money on..is the latest instantly obsolete thing..that you are going to feel compelled to replace in 12 months time..!

I got off the treadmill years ago catweazle, I don't care what the Jones's have, and I don't get taken in by "must haves" But manufacturers play on the gullibility of consumers, western society being what it is, they know if they make it, there's plenty of people will buy it. Sounds like you though, as well as me, are too cute to be taken in :-)

I have kept most of my electrical goods for years, classic designs and made to last.
