I don't know about gophers.but as far as your mole problems, you need to eliminate their food source...the electrical machines and all that stuff does not work.they eat lots of grubs and such..use a pesticide and fertilize your lawn, also try to locate your local extension office on line and research it to find out the best method for your area.

Spread around small pieces of spearmint and juicy fruit gum.
A SHOT GUN.LOL. REALLY YOU WOULD HAVE TO SIT OUT THERE AND WAITE ON THEM. GO TO YOUR HOME DEPO STORE OR HARD WARE. ASK THEM WHAT WILL KILL THEM. GOOD LUCK.....
how cute is that! I know you won't agree, but i find that really endearing. I obviously have never had a mole or gopher issue.
there are traps, rather execution devises. they've been around for years, it has several large spikes that will scewer the critter and eliminate your pests.
Wow, that mole plunger looked sadistic. I hate that the moles are tearing up my yard but I don't know if I could become the "mole terminator". This question was previously asked, I checked for it because I have the same problem. There was a recommendation for some type of "pesticide worm" I believe. It wouldn't work for me though, it's illegal in NYS, so I couldn't buy it, let alone try it. Maybe you can. Check in search for questions to see if you have some luck.
Here's some tips I've read:
Use whirly-gigs or pinwheels in ground - sound scares em away!
A tonic to make: 1 c liq dish soad, 1 c castor oil, 2 T alum - mix & put in sprayer & saturate area.
A kindly nasty recipe I'm almost afraid to post to rid gophers: 4 T castor oil, 4 T liq dish soap, & ... 4 T urine (sry!) - combine in 1/2 c warm water then stir into 2 gallons warm water. Pour over infested areas.
Also seen battery-powered sound devices that will scare em away!
