How to get rid of bats?
I have resident bats flying trough my living room every morning leaving their droppings and stinky smell, is there a bat repellent before I hire all kids in the neighborhood to kill these pets? I tried an answer posted here, to use mothballs, it idd not work, now I have two smells in the garage, 1 from the bats and 1 from the mothballs. Thank you.

You are in serious danger. Call a professional service to help. Bats are known to be carriers of rabies and exposure to bat droppings is severely dangerous for humans. It can cause illness and even blindness. Check these links and get out until the bats are gone and the area is cleaned. Seriously!

Well u can try a cat,cat tend to chase out bats and rats i had lots of bat in my ceiling but after we got a cat he climbed up into the ceiling and they never came back.or u can call an exterminator.
I never heard of mothballs discouraging skunks or bats. For attics, blocking their entry points work. Since you have a garage, it will be tougher. Ultrasound works, but the sound doesn't penetrate or reflect in the area like bass sounds do to our ear. The guano is serious health risk though. Have a look at the suggestions from the link below.
Please don't kill them. Just control them. It is possible.
You purchase an item named Bat Away.We use it in our high rise to get rid of the squeakers. In Texas, we are not allowed to kill them by law.You can purchase it at any farm and ranch supply store.good luck
