How to get rid of bats?
I have resident bats flying trough my living room every morning leaving their droppings and stinky smell, is there a bat repellent before I hire all kids in the neighborhood to kill these pets? I tried an answer posted here, to use mothballs, it did NOT work, now I have two smells in the garage, 1 from the bats and 1 from the mothballs. Thank you.

First, you need to find out where they are getting in and out. Attach the outer portion of a metal dryer vent to the outside of the opening. They have to go out to feed. The flap will prevent them from getting back in.
Check the local bird people to find out how to make a bat house and the best place to put it on your land.
They are great at eating flying bugs. Work out something to cover and uses the droppings from their bat-house in your yard.
The mothball smell smell will eventually go away. As for the bats? You may need to go ahead and get an exterminator to come in and help solve this nightmare.
Bats in the livingroom? That is serious! Call your local county extension office, they may be able to help further.
Bats can be dangerous, not only rabbies carriers, but their droppings can cause serious health problems also.
