Question:

Answers:
Manure & compost are really good additives.

When you buy organic fertilizers, the numbers represent Nitrogen-Phonphorus-Potassium; ingredients that plants need. Plants also need other ing such as calcium, magnesium, & sulfur. To provide healthy, balanced nutrition, here's a couple of 'tonics':
#1) 1 can beer, 1 c ammonia, 1/2 c liq dish soap, 1/2 cup liq lawn food, 1/2 cup molasses or clear corn syrup -- Mix in lg bucket & use hose sprayer or... saturate lawn, trees, flowers, beggies every 3 wks during growing season

for Veggies: alternate this w/#1: 1/2 c fish fertilizer, 2 T whiskey, 2 T Epsom salts, 2 T instant tea granules, 1 T baby shampoo

Manure. You can buy it dried in bags at most garden centers.

Compost is also a good choice. You can make it yourself from your yard and food waste.
Chicken poop is the best. Compost is a good soil amendment as well.
Rabbit poop is a great fertilizer.
Roses love it.

Good Luck.
