Can I get a clock where the hands stand still and the body rotates ?

Question:

Answers:
it wouldnt work. think about it.

the hands need to be able to move as they are never the same distance apart e.g with 11.50 the first and second hand are closer together than they would be at 11.45.

If you held the hands still maybe the body would rotate on a normal clock.
i don't know but if you can i want one
no
as a solution to victoria b's answer, you could have two dials, one to represent the hour hand, that turns at the rate of the hour hand, and one to represent the minute hand. and if you really want to go over the top, another for the second hand.

it might not be very easy to read initially, but with a bit of practise should work.

make one. and then becasue i (helped) with the idea, make another for me!
