Can anyone identify this bug?

Question:I was taking a break from dusting and cleaning my room, and I was sitting on my bed for a sec, catching my breath, when I noticed that there was this bug crawling up the neckline of my shirt. It looked like a very tiny worm, I would say it looked like a "maggot" but I have only seen maggots on TV & in movies. It really grossed me out. I think it was an orange brown color but I could be wrong because I was sitting in semi-darkness. I took it off my shirt with a tissue and flushed it down the toilet. All I can say is that it's a very tiny worm looking bug, like a maggot. I've never seen it before, I've only seen flies or maybe a spider once in awhile. Does anyone have any idea what it could be (or more importantly, how to make sure more of them aren't around?)

Usually these worms can be found around woolen items like stored sweaters,blankets ect. they turn into little moths. You can put moth balls into your stored items and that should prevent them. Also wash all you stored items now ar they could reproduce. Hope this helps.also check out site.
