Brother Sewing Machine Top Thread not working?


Question:I have a XL2600i Just took it out of the box.this is the second one that Ive had and the other one did the same thing.The bobbin side of the fabric the stitch is perfect...The top, is just a straight ling running through loops of thread.if you cut it and pull the whole thing comes undone. I thought I messed up the other one and returned it but this one is right out of the box!! HELP!

Answers:
I think you have to deal with the tension knob. Turn it up to a higher number, it may be just too loose
