How to get rid of **** roaches?
Question:i only see them in the house at night or when the room is dark
Answers:
You gotta let an exterminator do it..they can get in all the cracks and hiding places of those nasty critters. Those things lay thousands of eggs and before you know it you're infested. But at least they don't bite..they just chase ya all over the house.
Well, it wouldn't be very cost effective to leave all the lights on all the time now would it.?. There are trays of adhesive you can put out to catch them in. Probably some baits available to kill them off. Put them where you usually find la cucarachas.
The best way to get rid of them is to call an exterminator. It may cost a lot but it'll prolly be the only thing that works. My dad had roaches, he set bombs off, used little traps, and that spray. It didn't work. My mom has tried everything too and they haven't went away. When she lived at another place the only thing that worked was calling the Orkin Man (the exterminator).
put them out and empty ash trays.
Be prepared to bug bomb! (Hope you have lots of money!) Enforcer has the strongest stuff on the market. You will have to seal up the house super tight, remove pets (Even fish), and open all closets, cabinets and drawers (Even furnisher). Then set 2 to 3 per room, in every room(even basement and attics) for max effect. (10 x 12 room). Then after clean every thing within an inch of it's life and put down boric acid behind frig, stove, oven, and don't leave food out ever!
I'm speaking from experience here, I hate them more then anything and over kill is the only way to get rid of them.
Try Twenty Mule Team Borax. It has borax in it and it is very effective. Put it in all cracks and crevices you can find...around doors, under the frig and stove, etc.or try 'Bengal'. It is a spray that runs about $6 or $7 a can. I used it one time in my old kitchen, which was overrun with roaches. It was effective for 2 or 3 years. So much cheaper than an exterminator (who will have to keep coming back every month).
Hope this helps.
For Brenda - in some areas of the country there are roaches and wether you have them or not has nothing to do with cleanliness. I had neighbors that moved from a house next door. Their roaches moved into my house!
Roach Proof is nothing more than boric acid...or borax.
could try being a clean civilized person. hey it might work!
only houses ive ever seen roaches in are disgusting places where people live in disgusting filth, you're not one of these people are you?
find yourself a can of 'roach pruf', follow the directions and you won't have any roachs for years!! my house has been roach proof for 27 years after only one application!!
I read an article once about this but I'm not sure if it works because I've never had to do it. They said it absolutely works though. If you try it and it works please let me know.
Kill cockroaches with a mixture of 1/3 borax, 1/3 cornmeal, 1/3 flour and a dash of powdered sugar. Sprinkle this in crevices under sinks and vanities where cockroaches love to hide. Keep this away from children and animals.
You can also try this.
Mix powdered boric acid with sugar and powdered nondairy creamer. Use a mixture of of 50 percent boric acid to 25 percent sugar and 25 percent creamer. This is relatively safe but should still be kept away from children and animals. Sprinkle the mixture in all the dark, warm places that cockroaches love - under sinks and stoves, behind refrigerators, in cabinets and closets, and so on. The roaches will walk through the powder and then clean themselves, much the way a cat does. Once they ingest the powder they die.
Also, to keep roaches out of the cupboards, place some bay leaves on the shelves.
