Is there a non toxic way to get rid of carpenter ants (or any way)?

Question:or any way?

Answers:
I got a can of RAID for crawling insects and soaked the area. Stays toxic for up to 6 weeks even though it dries out quickly. My pets have shown no interest in the areas.

For non-toxic try Parasitic Nematodes which are insects that get into the ants and destroy them from the inside - or something.

Personally I prefer the RAID as it is quicker and not quite so involved.

They only go where there is water, eliminate the water, they go elsewhere.
Non toxic...I would say eat them.thats all...
Sorry, this is a job for a professional exterminator. He sprays the outside perimeter of the foundation and any hot spots where there are nests.

Carpenter ants can cause lots of destruction to wooden house shingles, framing, and windows. They form large nests in wooden structures; they weaken the wooden structures. They can move from outside to inside your house.

New government regulations require exterminators to use products that are approved by the EPA
burn them
