Question:

Answers:
Depends on if this is inside dimensions or outside dimensions, and what you are thinking of making it with: cardboard or wood.

out of what ??
metal wood
all that means is the length and width are both 1.5 and the box is 4 feet in height.
Cut two 18" squares out of whatever material you want to use. Then cut 4 rectangles 18" by 48". Then nail or glue it together.
get a piece of 3/4" ply or mdf and cut 4 sheets 1.5 x 4 and 2 shts 1'71/2"x9 3/4"
45degree the sides and assemble.
you know enough now to make your own type lid
