I found a live snake in between the window and screen. How do I get it to leave?

Do you know what type of snake it is? Look it up if you're not sure.
If it's a non-venomous snake, get a big rubbermaid storage bin or cardboard box and place it below the window. Prop it up on something so that the lip of the bin or box is right below the windowsill. Next, open the window and brush the snake into the bin with a broom. Then, put a lid on it and take it outside. Let it go. (screens in my house come off from the inside, hence my directions. If they come off outside, then pop them off outside and let the snake out.)
If it's venomous, call animal control in the morning.
personally i would cut the screen so he can get out then when he is gone go to home depot get screen and replace it. you could just take the screen out and it will go away. if it is a large snake or you think it might be poisonous call animal control and have them come get it.
first thing first you must know wht kind type of snake is it
secondly you must get some help from the fire department
and lastty good luck
call animal control
Uh hang on here. The snake is in between the window and the screen - what windows have the screen on the OUTSIDE? If he cuts the screen - the snake gets in the house - GREAT ADVICE! How about opening the window more so the snake can get out!
all windows have the screen on the outside, cut or take off the screen, keep the window closed and the snake will leave,, if you dont want to do this then call, animal control, the local fire dept or the cops. I see it on cops all the time, this is common.
good luck
